Purdue Websites
Company: Purdue University
Skills: UX, Visual Design
During my time working for Purdue, I was able to work with not only the main purdue.edu website, but others across the entire campus.
Purdue.edu
My largest accomplishment while working at Purdue was being able to completely redesign Purdue’s website in 2014. It was the first time they had an actual mobile site (you know, one without having to pinch and zoom) and we doubled the worth of it within the year that it launched.
We took the approach of being completely audience focused, with the tiles changing and shifting as new priorities came about.
The homepage now has shifted and changed (I helped with ux/visual direction), but you can still see some secondary pages I personally designed.
Women in Engineering
The Women in Engineering Program within Purdue University needed a sub-brand to increase the number of female and minority undergrad students in the College of Engineering.
The most motivational piece of this project was the audience: female, middle school to high school students. I wanted to create a fun, energetic campaign that incorporated vibrant colors, funny photography and easy to understand writing. These girls want to see themselves. Engineers aren’t just serious all of the time… they can have a little fun too!

Engineering Impact
The College of Engineering wanted a website to house their alumni and current undergraduate and graduate students accomplishments. The have a printed magazine and wanted those stories to be translated to the Web.
