Blog Redesign
Project Background
In 2018, Vera Bradley wanted to give their Blog a fresh look and figure out a way to merge the reading experience with the shopping experience. During this project, I collaborated with the Social Media, Creative and Digital Merchandising Teams.
The project goals were to:
Relaunch the blog with an updated look using WordPress
Emphasis on search-friendly content and templates
Integrate with the verabradley.com shopping experience
Add analytics

User Journeys and Personas
We created a few user journeys including one for a user searching for an old pattern that VB doesn’t sell anymore. And a couple of personas relating to those journeys.

Low Fidelity Wireframes
Below you’ll find some low fidelity wireframes (there were plenty more, I assure you) for the Blog’s homepage, article types and article listing.

High Fidelity Wireframes and Final Designs
Although this design is no longer the current Vera Bradley Blog, it did live for almost two years prior to a new design. Users frequently shopped products written about in posts.
